Petabit is confused with pebibit which is defined as 1024 tebibits. The difference between them is that petabit is a power of 10 number and pebibit power of 2.

Gigabyte (GB) is a unit of information equal to 10003 bytes, defined by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in December 1998. However, when referred to main memory or RAM capacity GB is equal to 10243 bytes, but this should now be called a gibibyte.
