Egyptian Royal cubit (mahe) exists at least from around 2,700 B.C. This unit is defined as the length of a man's forearm from his elbow to the tip of his middle finger. The Egyptian royal cubit was 523 to 525 mm long. Our converter uses the average 524 mm.
