Pace is a unit of length equal to the distance between two successive falls of the same foot. Romans defined a pace as 1/1000 of a Roman mile. That is equal to about 1.48 meters.

DTP point (pt) is the desktop publishing point used by typographers and printers. It is defined to be equal to 1/72 of the Anglo-Saxon compromise inch of 1959 (25.4 mm), which is approximately 0.0139 inch or 352.8 micrometers. DTP point is sometimes called PostScript point also.
